The first international edition of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, held from September 25 to 28, 2025, at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA), marked a turning point in European pop culture history. With more than 300 hours of content, panels, exhibitions, cosplay contests, and exclusive premieres from entertainment giants like Disney, Marvel, and Warner Bros., Málaga became the European capital of creativity, technology, and fandom for four unforgettable days.
Among the most visited and talked-about stands was the space dedicated to the legendary Tron saga, where Glam Cam had the privilege of participating with a truly immersive experience: an Augmented Reality Photobooth that transported visitors directly into the digital world of Tron Ares.
📸 Augmented Reality Photobooth: Our Experience
At the Tron Ares stand, we installed four interactive screens equipped with advanced motion Kinect.
Using our Glam Cam Augmented Reality Photobooth, attendees could stand in front of the screens and instantly see themselves transformed into digital avatars wearing the iconic glowing suits of Tron’s protagonists.
The system detected each participant’s body and movements in real time, precisely matching the virtual lighting and effects to every gesture.
Every turn, arm raise, or shift of stance triggered synchronized visual reactions, recreating the electric energy of Tron’s digital universe.
In addition, the system allowed visitors to record a short video showing their transformation, which they could then receive via QR code to share on social media.
The result was spectacular. Thousands of Comic-Con attendees experienced the installation during the four days of the event, turning the Tron area into one of the most photographed and shared attractions at the entire convention.
Long lines formed constantly as fans of all ages eagerly waited to “enter” the Tron world.
The experience perfectly captured Glam Cam’s mission — to merge cutting-edge technology with emotional engagement through unforgettable interactive moments.

Tron is one of Disney’s most visionary franchises, known for its futuristic design, electronic soundtrack, and pioneering exploration of the digital realm. From the original 1982 film directed by Steven Lisberger to Tron: Legacy (2010) and the upcoming Tron Ares (2025), the series has inspired generations of fans, programmers, and visual artists.
During Comic-Con San Diego Málaga 2025, Disney presented exclusive content from Tron: Ares, featuring appearances by Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith, and director Joachim Rønning. For Glam Cam, being part of the Tron stand was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how Augmented Reality and immersive audiovisual technology can strengthen the emotional connection between audiences and a world-famous brand like Disney.

Over four days, the FYCMA convention center was transformed into a vast creative hub with zones dedicated to comics, film, series, video games, animation, cosplay, and new technology.
The event featured more than 300 hours of activities, including talks, screenings, workshops, signings, and exclusive presentations.
The first edition of Comic-Con Málaga drew over 60,000 visitors, positioning the city as one of Europe’s new hubs for entertainment and technological innovation.
